Jean-Marc Franssen is a former Full Professor at Liege University. He started the development of SAFIR® in the 1990’s.

The objective of the company SAFIR Support is to support the users outside Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the utilisation of the software SAFIR® for the simulation of structures subjected to fire.
